A budget is optional, but it changes how you log expenses: instead of adding things up at the end, you see how much room is left while you are still travelling.
Where it shows up
The progress sits right in the trip overview and again in the detail view – as a bar, not a column of figures. One glance is enough.
The budget applies per trip, in the currency you picked for that trip. Expenses in other currencies count towards it converted, at the rate each expense froze.
